Malty Mike is the second-to-last Single Hop IPA in this year’s Single Hop Protocol. And this big boy is programmed for flavour: dark malt, cold fermentation and one hop doing all the heavy lifting. His operating system is simple: keep it dark, keep it crisp and let the Chinook hops do the work. A subtle roasted edge keeps the malt side moody without taking over, while the bitterness stays clean and firm.
